Parece que está tentando atualizar o software do Google no meu Mac. Alterei seu intervalo de verificação de 18000 (5 horas) para 604800 (uma vez por semana) com

defaults write com.google.Keystone.Agent checkInterval 604800


mas está ignorando isso.

Macbook Air 2012 com o Sierra.

Como faço para corrigi-lo ou matá-lo.

Como não estou qualificado para solucionar problemas do Google, acabei usando força bruta.

Primeiro, renomeei esta pasta: /Library/Google/GoogleSoftwareUpdate/GoogleSoftwareUpdate.bundle/Contents/Resources/

Então eu matei o programa de atualização do GoogleSoftwareUpdate com

sudo launchctl remove com.google.keystone.system.agent

O primeiro resultado é: (vitória)

Amanhã veremos se ele permanece durante a noite e para de tentar atualizar o Google Software a cada hora.
