MySQL - mysql_upgrade - Ocorreu um erro: Não é possível configurar variáveis ​​do servidor

Eu corro o MySQL 5.7.11 dentro da imagem oficial do docker.

Quando quero atualizar, recebo o seguinte erro:

Encontrei uma solução alternativa!

Pare seu db. Em seguida, inicie-o com:

mysqld --skip-grant-tables &

E então, eu poderia finalmente fazer minha atualização:

mysql_upgrade

Eu tive um problema semelhante ao atualizar do 5.7.x para o 5.7.15 usando apt-getmas não dentro de uma imagem do Docker, mas em uma instância básica do Ubuntu 16.04 EC2.

Eu consegui superar configurando um .mylogin.cnfarquivo para minha conta de usuário raiz do Linux, para que ele pudesse efetuar login sem fornecer o nome de usuário e a senha e, em seguida, executando o mysql_upgradecomando enquanto estava conectado à conta raiz.

Isso conseguiu executar as atualizações necessárias da tabela do sistema e, em seguida, consegui concluir o apt-get upgradecomando sem problemas.

No meu eu tive que

mv /var/lib/mysql /var/lib/mysql.bak

copie uma nova pasta / var / lib / mysql sobre apenas um banco de dados mysql básico. Acabei de ter um armazenado em / var / lib / mysql-new

mv /var/lib/mysql-new /var/lib/mysql
service mysql restart

apt-get install -f

Ele passou e atualizou o banco de dados mysql e então você pode:

 mv /var/lib/mysql /var/lib/mysql-new
 mv /var/lib/mysql.bak /var/lib/mysql
 service mysql restart

Trabalhou para mim. Tentei várias outras sugestões, incluindo limpar, excluir tudo e recomeçar, brincar com o apparmor e assim por diante, mas essa era a única maneira que funcionava para mim.

No meu caso, o mesmo problema, resolveu desta maneira:

$ mysql_upgrade db_username@db_host -p
