Esta tabela contém dados em tempo real, portanto, os registros são inseridos consistentemente. Estou tentando excluir dados com mais de 5 dias. Mas quando a exclusão está em execução, tenho várias instruções de inserção que geram um conflito.

tabela contém o ID que precisa ser excluído. A #ToPurge
tabela não possui nenhum índice. O número de linhas pode variar, mas para o meu caso de teste, havia mais de 3 milhões:

Como você pode ver no plano de execução, o otimizador não usa o índice clusterizado do primário, mas usa a chave Unique que não contém o campo Id. Penso que esta é a razão pela qual tenho um impasse, pois ele precisa bloquear mais páginas do que se estivesse usando o índice correto.
Eu tento adicionar um índice não agrupado com o ID e depois o otimizador está usando.
