Modo de remarcação do GitHub

Existe um modo Emacs para o GitHub Flavored Markdown?

O Markdown com sabor do GitHub adiciona vários recursos ao Markdown tradicional: tratamento de sublinhado, link automático de URL, rasurado e tabelas. Seria bom ter um modo Emacs que suporte essas adições (principalmente tabelas).

Existe gfm-mode(que faz parte do markdown-mode.el ). Do comentário no arquivo:
