Usando Drop Markers e MarkerClusterer juntos?

Quero criar uma representação visualmente atraente de dados de séries temporais (Locais da loja Costco com datas de abertura).

Minha idéia era plotá-los em um mapa, em séries temporais, mas parece que a quantidade de marcadores no mapa diminui a imagem que quero apresentar.

Construção do mapa no Google Maps v3 API, eu era capaz de conseguir ESTE agora ..

Quero poder agrupar os marcadores quando eles caírem no mapa. Ou seja, os clusters aumentariam dinamicamente à medida que os marcadores caíssem no mapa.

Bom mapa! Gosto da abordagem que você adotou para que os marcadores voassem. Essa não é uma resposta estrita à sua pergunta, mas que tal usar uma forma diferente que pareça melhor em massa? Há um bom exemplo de dados fluidos que usa círculos. Isso pode remover a necessidade de agrupar os recursos.

Parece melhor, mas você está certo de que ainda precisa de um cluster. Tentei conectá -lo ao MarkerClusterer, mas isso remove os marcadores quando adiciona os clusters. Não ajuda muito, desculpe

Essa pode não ser a solução mais elegante, mas, com alguns ajustes nas durações do tempo limite e na personalização dos ícones do cluster, acho que você pode obter o efeito que está procurando. Veja este exemplo .

O truque é primeiro criar um marcador e definir o mapatributo no objeto de opções do marcador. Isso adiciona o marcador ao mapa com a bela animação drop. Em seguida, a createMarkerfunção retorna o objeto marcador para que possamos adicioná-lo ao cluster depois que ele for solto no mapa. A adição do marcador ao cluster é agrupada em sua própria setTimeoutfunção, para que haja um atraso entre o marcador que cai no mapa e é adicionado ao cluster. Caso contrário, tudo acontece muito rápido para ver.

Observe que, para ter controle sobre os ícones do cluster, você deve usar o MarkerClusterPlus , a versão aprimorada do MarkerCluster . O MarkerClusterPlus é compatível com versões anteriores.
