Um servidor backuppc pode entrar em máquinas remotas como raiz e fazer backup delas, mas se eu entrar como usuário do backuppc e tentar ssh nessas máquinas usando a mesma chave, a chave será rejeitada com a seguinte saída de depuração:

Sei que é uma boa ideia verificar as permissões da ~/.ssh
máquina na qual estou efetuando login, mas meu problema é que não consigo acessá-lo. Na máquina em que estou tentando fazer login no remoto, aqui estão as permissões no .ssh

não foram alterados.
A chave nunca deveria ter sido alterada desde que foi criada e não foi armazenada no formato incorreto, pois é usada há anos por esta máquina sem problemas. Até agora, reinicializei o sistema na esperança de ajudar a corrigi-lo, mas não sei realmente o que mais fazer, pois gerar uma nova chave não é realmente uma opção, pois essas máquinas estão distantes. Alguém sabe o que devo fazer?
