Fedora Linux - Interface Ethernet saindo espontaneamente com o erro “Card not present on Slot”

Estou executando o Fedora 17 Linux em um computador Advantech ARK-3440 ( folha de dados ).

De tempos em tempos (digamos 5 vezes desde 1º de janeiro), ele perde espontaneamente sua interface de rede. Nos logs do Linux / var / log / messages *, vejo que a interface parece sumir rapidamente e depois voltar. Mas, ao voltar, não pode ser adicionado novamente pelo Linux.

Alguém tem experiência com esse problema ou alguma sugestão sobre o que isso pode ser ou como solucionar problemas? Isso poderia ser um verdadeiro problema de hardware? Ou mais provavelmente um problema no Linux?

Eu pesquisei e encontrei mensagens semelhantes no tópico "Cartão não presente", mas sem respostas adequadas. Alguns sugerem a reconstrução do Linux sem suporte a hotplug ...

O Fedora 17 é anos após o EOL e não é suportado. Por favor, atualize para algo mais recente se você espera algumas respostas razoáveis.

Além do que o Jakuje diz, o Fedora mais novo terá um kernel mais novo, com drivers mais novos, então é definitivamente a primeira coisa a tentar de qualquer maneira.
