Sempre que tento acessar o Editor de Diretiva de Grupo Local (ou acessar a Política de segurança local na pasta Ferramentas Administrativas), recebo a seguinte mensagem:
"Falha ao abrir o Objeto de Diretiva de Grupo neste computador. Talvez você não tenha os direitos apropriados.
Detalhes: Erro não especificado "
Por favor, alguém pode sugerir qual poderia ser o problema?
Eu usei um limpador de registro, que poderia ter causado o dano.

Estou usando o Windows 7 Professional como administrador. O PC é independente - sem controlador de domínio.
Olhou no log de eventos administrativos e encontrou muitos destes:
