Acabei de instalar o ubuntu 11.10 no meu laptop. tudo funciona muito bem, no entanto, quando consigo hibernar, minha tela fica preta, mas ainda fica em contraluz e minha CPU ainda está em execução. Como posso consertar isso?

Eu tenho o mesmo problema (hibernar / suspender) e esta solução funciona para o meu Asus K53E (eu uso a etapa 2, não a etapa 2 mais antiga):

Possuem (possivelmente) o mesmo problema, o mesmo modelo de laptop. O Hibernate salva no disco, mas não desliga. Não é essencial, mas irritante.

Não parece estar registrando nenhum problema entre gravar o estado do sistema no disco e ativar. Um desligamento normal funciona bem.
