Como avisar (noise / bleep) quando o Ubuntu está prestes a entrar no modo de suspensão?

Eu tenho um tempo muito baixo no modo de suspensão. Eu gosto desse jeito ... (são 20 minutos).

Depois de ficar inativo por 20 minutos, meu sistema entrará no modo de suspensão automática e preciso pressionar o teclado para reativar.

Existe uma maneira de fazer um barulho / bipe quando o Ubuntu está prestes a entrar no modo de suspensão?

Recebo um aviso de notificação com texto, mas frequentemente não estou olhando para a tela.

Como a equipe do NotifyOSD está demorando para adicionar som às notificações, aqui está um script que realizará a mesma coisa suficientemente boa para o seu caso de uso específico.

2. para dentro gedit

3. Salve-o como sleep-beepno diretório Documentos
4. Pressione Ctrl+ Alt+ Tpara ir para um terminal

5. Torne o script executável e copie-o para o diretório certo:

   sudo chmod +x ~/Documents/sleep-beep
   sudo cp ~/Documents/sleep-beep /etc/pm/sleep.d/sleep-beep
   

6. Como ele precisa reproduzir arquivos ogg na linha de comando, também precisa:

   sudo apt-get install vorbis-tools
