Retomar o problema no meu Dell XPS 13 9350 após a atualização de 16.04 LTS para 17.10. Quando eu fechava a tampa, até onde eu sabia, o sistema foi suspenso (embora eu ache que provavelmente caiu nesse momento). Vejo entradas como esta em / var / log / syslog:

Essas mensagens em si realmente não indicam nada incomum (pelo menos para o meu sistema - estou curioso para saber o que os erros significam). Quando eu abria a tampa, via um BIOS POST e o sistema inicializava. Isso é refletido no log, que tinha mensagens como estas imediatamente após a parte acima:

De qualquer forma, não sei por que o pacote "uswsusp" estava ausente ou por que ele resolveu o problema. Parece que deve ser um pacote necessário.
