No meu Kubuntu 14.4 (que possui o python 2.7.6 como padrão), meu python está quebrado depois que tentei instalar o python 2.7.10 após criar a partir do código fonte do python.org com a ajuda de Como instalar a versão mais recente do Python no Debian separadamente ou melhoria? . Não consigo consertá-lo com os comandos padrão que suspeito que meu dpkg esteja de alguma forma confuso / quebrado em relação à instalação do python. Eu gostaria de corrigir o dpkg nesse aspecto. Eu suspeito que isso tem algo a ver com o arquivo /var/lib/dpkg/statuse /var/lib/dpkg/availablee /var/lib/dpkg/info/*particularily o primeiro. Eu acho que tenho que redefinir de dpkgalguma forma, mas eu realmente não sou especialista. A razão pela qual acho que isso é:

Da próxima vez que você desejar compilar e instalar o Python a partir da fonte, pode ser uma boa ideia instalá-lo em um local alternativo (primeiro). O Python está presente no seu sistema como parte da pilha de software usada por outros aplicativos. É um pouco perigoso instalar na instalação do Python em todo o sistema sem testá-lo. ./configure --prefix=/opt/python. Caso contrário, pode ter sido onde as coisas deram errado. Sem fornecer a --prefix=/opt/pythonpeça, você pode substituir a instalação em todo o sistema. Você seguiu exatamente essas instruções?
