A soma de verificação Rpmdb é inválida - tentando instalar o gcc em uma imagem do Docker CentOS 7.2

Então, estou tentando criar uma imagem do Docker que contenha gcc.

Estou executando o comando RUN yum -y install gccno meu Dockerfile.

Ele baixa o pacote até que finalmente tente instalar uma dependência.

The command '/bin/sh -c yum -y install gcc' returned a non-zero code: 1

Eu estava tendo esse problema exato ao criar uma imagem do Docker. A primeira instalação yum-plugin-ovl, que é um plugin yum para a sobreposição Docker fs, corrigiu o problema para mim.

Exemplo:

... RUN yum -y update \ && yum -y install yum-plugin-ovl \ && yum -y install gcc ...
