Estou usando o ArchLinux em um HP Pavilion dv9000t com problemas de superaquecimento. Fiz tudo o que posso para obter um melhor fluxo de ar no laptop e colocar uma pasta térmica melhor, mas ainda há um problema:
o ventilador para de girar quando a temperatura da CPU está baixa (mesmo que a temperatura da GPU esteja alta, o que é problemático).
Descobri que posso ativar o ventilador iniciando alguns comandos de processamento pesado (como o yes
comando). No entanto, não é uma solução, pois preciso interromper esse comando quando a CPU ficar muito quente e iniciá-lo novamente quando o ventilador parar (para que a GPU não fique quente).
Tentei controlar o ventilador usando este wiki , mas quando executo pwmconfig
, recebo este erro:

Você sabe o que posso fazer para que o ventilador sempre gire?

comando, levei algum tempo para descobrir que é melhor aumentar a temperatura da CPU do que quatro simultaneamente grep
em todo o disco rígido (embora não saiba por que ele consome muita CPU).
